Multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Jonathan Horstmann is part of the band Urban Heat, a 3-piece American post-punk band with Kevin Naquin and Paxel Foley. Jonathan’s voice has been described as a “throaty baritone delivering thought provoking lyrics on existence and romanticism”. His authentic connection with his live audience is undeniably energetic and engaging. In 2022 their single “Have You Ever” went viral on TikTok and was viewed over a million times. Atomic Music Group took Urban Heat on for North American booking and in the fall they completed a national headlining tour. In Jan 2023 the band was nominated for Band of the Year and received the award for Song of the Year in the Austin Music Awards.
